- Wear parts: Contact tips, gas nozzles, wire feed rollers (normal wear)
- Misuse: Damage caused by improper use or failure to follow the manual
- Environmental damage: Damage from water, fire, lightning, or extreme temperatures
- Unauthorised repairs: Modifications by non-authorised workshops
- Cosmetic damage: Scratches, dents, or discolouration without functional impact
