SEE IT IN ACTION

Independent hands-on demonstration of the CMT250 ACDC — AC TIG aluminium welding, plasma cutting, and multi-process performance tested in real workshop conditions.

The ultimate all-in-one professional welder — AC/DC TIG, MIG/MAG (Gas), Gasless MIG (FLUX), MMA, and NHF Plasma Cutting in a single unit. Built for workshops that weld every metal and refuse to be limited by their equipment. 200A output • True AC TIG for aluminium • NHF pilot arc plasma • Dual smart cooling fans • 100% copper accessories.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

Functions

7 processes in one machine: MIG/MAG (Gas) • Gasless MIG / FLUX (FCAW) • MMA (Stick) • DC TIG • DC TIG Pulse • AC TIG • AC TIG Pulse • NHF Plasma Cutting — all switchable from the front panel, no rewiring required.

MIG / MAG welding (Gas)

Gas metal arc welding with direct current (DC). Welding with inactive/inert gas (MIG, e.g. argon) or active gas (MAG, e.g. CO2). Gas and welding wire come from one torch head — weld with just one hand.

Flux-cored wire welding (FLUX / Gasless MIG)

MIG/MAG welding without gas using a special self-shielding wire. Ideal for outdoor work, windy conditions, and site welding — no gas cylinder required.

AC/DC TIG welding

True AC TIG with adjustable frequency and balance control for aluminium and magnesium alloys. DC TIG for steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, and titanium. Pulse on both AC & DC channels.

4-roller drive

A powerful 4-roller drive ensures reliable wire feed, transporting thicker welding wires continuously and safely during MIG/MAG welding.

Automatic wire feed

The welding wire is automatically untwisted from the spool and pushed through the hose package to the contact tip. Wire feed speed is self-regulating depending on the welding current.

MMA / manual metal arc welding

Manual electrode welding is a universal process usable under almost all conditions — including rusty, painted, or coated materials.

NHF Pilot Arc Plasma Cutter

All conductive metals — steel, copper, stainless steel, brass, aluminium, titanium — can be cut with ease. NHF pilot arc eliminates CNC interference and starts on rusty or coated surfaces.

Contact ignition

A light touch of the workpiece is sufficient to ignite in plasma mode. Permanent contact with the workpiece is maintained for the cut.

Hot Start & Anti-stick

Hot Start provides automatic voltage boost at ignition for reliable electrode striking. Anti-stick: if the electrode sticks, the welding current is automatically reduced — the electrode does not anneal and can be detached easily.

Dual Smart Sleep Fans

Two independent intelligent cooling fans activate automatically based on internal temperature — superior heat dissipation for longer duty cycles. Switch off automatically when the machine cools.

100% Copper Earth Clamp & Electrode Holder

Full copper construction — not copper-coated. Superior conductivity, minimal voltage drop, and significantly longer service life than standard accessories.

If you need to weld aluminium via AC TIG, require plasma cutting on coated surfaces, or want the most complete professional multi-process solution — the CMT250 ACDC is the only choice.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What welding and cutting processes does the CMT250 ACDC support?
The CMT250 ACDC supports 7 processes: MIG/MAG (Gas), Gasless MIG / FLUX (FCAW), MMA (Stick), DC TIG, DC TIG Pulse, AC TIG, AC TIG Pulse, and NHF Plasma Cutting. Process switching via front panel — no rewiring required.
Can the CMT250 ACDC weld aluminium?
Yes — this is its standout capability. The CMT250 ACDC features true AC TIG with adjustable AC frequency and balance control, enabling high-quality aluminium and magnesium alloy welding equivalent to a dedicated AC TIG machine. AC TIG Pulse further reduces heat input for thin aluminium work.
What is NHF Plasma and why does it matter?
NHF (Non-High-Frequency) Pilot Arc plasma ignition eliminates electromagnetic interference caused by traditional HF plasma starters. Safe to use near CNC machines, PLCs, and sensitive electronics. Starts reliably on rusty, painted, or coated surfaces without pre-cleaning.
What are the dual smart sleep fans and how do they help?
The CMT250 ACDC features two independent intelligent cooling fans that activate automatically based on internal temperature. This dual-fan system significantly improves heat dissipation, allowing for a higher duty cycle and longer continuous welding sessions. Fans switch off automatically when the machine cools.
What is the Hot Start function and why is it useful?
Hot Start provides an automatic voltage boost at the moment of arc ignition, making electrode striking easier and more reliable. It prevents the electrode from sticking to the workpiece at the start of the weld.
Why does the CMT250 ACDC include 100% copper accessories?
The included earth clamp and electrode holder are made from 100% full copper — not copper-coated steel. Full copper provides superior electrical conductivity, minimal voltage drop, lower heat generation, and significantly longer service life.
What is the difference between the CMT250 and CMT250 ACDC?
The CMT250 ACDC adds: true AC TIG (aluminium welding), AC TIG pulse control, adjustable AC frequency and balance, dual smart cooling fans, 100% copper accessories, and NHF pilot arc plasma. The CMT250 is lighter (15 kg vs 32 kg) — ideal for steel and stainless work where portability matters.
What materials can the CMT250 ACDC weld and cut?
Welding: mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, magnesium alloys, copper, cast iron, and titanium. Plasma cutting: any electrically conductive metal including steel, stainless, aluminium, and copper — even painted or rusty surfaces.
Does the CMT250 ACDC come with a warranty and CE certification?
Yes. 2-year manufacturer warranty included. Fully CE certified and compliant with EU Low Voltage and EMC Directives. VRD safety included. IP23 rated for outdoor use.
