AC/DC TIG • MMA • 320A • 3-Phase • 0.5–999Hz Pulse • AC 50–250Hz • HF & Lift Arc Start • Water Cooled • Trolley Included • IP23 • CE Certified

BUILT FOR ALUMINIUM & INDUSTRIAL PRECISION

The TitanTig 320P AC/DC is a professional-grade 3-phase AC/DC TIG inverter engineered for fabricators who demand full material versatility. With true AC TIG for aluminium and DC TIG for stainless steel, mild steel, and titanium — combined with a 320A output range, high-frequency pulse up to 999Hz, and AC frequency control from 50–250Hz — it delivers consistent, high-quality welds across the full spectrum of industrial materials.

Delivered as a complete ready-to-weld package: 5m WP-18 water-cooled integrated torch, water cooler unit, and HMT300 trolley included as standard. Designed for fabrication shops, specialist contractors, and welding schools where arc stability, heat control, and material flexibility are non-negotiable. IP23 protection, Class H insulation, and multi-sensor protection make it equally at home in the workshop and on-site.

KEY FEATURES

AC/DC Switching — Aluminium & Steel

Full AC TIG mode for aluminium and magnesium alloys — the oxide-breaking AC arc delivers clean, precise welds. DC TIG for stainless steel, mild steel, copper alloys, and titanium. One machine, full material range.

AC Frequency Control — 50 to 250Hz

Adjustable AC frequency from 50Hz (wide, soft arc for thick aluminium) to 250Hz (focused, stiff arc for thin sections and precision work). Direct control over bead width, penetration, and heat input on aluminium.

High-Frequency Pulse — 0.5 to 999Hz

Full pulse frequency range from 0.5Hz (slow pulse for positional welding) to 999Hz (high-frequency pulse for ultra-thin materials with minimal heat input and no deformation). Pulse width adjustable 5–95%.

HF Arc Start & Lift TIG

Supports both HF (High Frequency) arc start for touchless ignition and Lift TIG for environments where HF interference must be avoided. Reliable arc ignition in all conditions.

Water Cooler & Trolley — Included as Standard

Complete ready-to-weld package: water cooler unit and HMT300 trolley are included as standard — not optional extras. Enables sustained high-current TIG welding in production environments without additional investment.

Heavy-Duty Industrial Cycle

60% duty cycle at 320A (Imax) and 250A at 100% continuous output — all at 40°C ambient. Standard water-cooled WP-18 integrated torch for sustained high-current TIG welding in production environments.

Selectable Pre/Post Flow & Slope

Pre-flow 0–2s / Post-flow 0–10s for precise shielding gas control. Up/Down slope time 0–10s for smooth arc start and crater fill — critical for aluminium and stainless steel TIG work.

Foot Pedal Compatible

Optional 3m wired foot pedal (A91001-903) for hands-free current control during TIG welding — essential for precision aluminium fabrication and positional work where both hands are on the torch and filler rod.

Multi-Sensor Protection

Temperature, voltage, and current sensors provide comprehensive protection against overload, overtemperature, and power fluctuations. IP23 ingress protection for workshop and outdoor site use.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can the TitanTig 320 AC/DC weld aluminium?
Yes. The TitanTig 320P AC/DC features full AC TIG mode specifically for welding aluminium and magnesium alloys. The AC arc breaks the oxide layer on aluminium, enabling clean, high-quality welds. Adjustable AC frequency (50–250Hz) gives you direct control over arc focus and heat input for different aluminium thicknesses.
What is included in the standard package?
The TitanTig 320 AC/DC is delivered as a complete ready-to-weld package including: 5m WP-18 Water-Cooled Integrated Torch, 3m 35mm² Earth Lead (300A Earth Clamp), Water Cooler Unit, and HMT300 Trolley — all included as standard. Optional accessories include a 3m wired foot pedal and MMA welding lead.
What is the difference between the TitanTig 320 AC/DC and the TitanTig 400P AC/DC?
Both machines offer full AC/DC TIG capability for aluminium and steel. The key differences are output current (320A vs 400A), main fuse requirement (40A vs 60A), and continuous output at 100% duty cycle (250A vs 310A). The 320 AC/DC is ideal for most industrial fabrication and specialist work; the 400P AC/DC is suited for the highest-demand production environments requiring sustained maximum output.
What does AC frequency control (50–250Hz) do?
AC frequency controls the arc cone width and focus during aluminium TIG welding. Lower frequency (50–100Hz) produces a wider, softer arc — better for thicker aluminium sections and filling. Higher frequency (150–250Hz) produces a focused, stiff arc with a narrower bead — ideal for thin aluminium sheet, precision work, and minimising heat distortion.
Does it support a foot pedal?
Yes. An optional 3m Wired Foot Pedal (A91001-903) is available, enabling hands-free current control during TIG welding. This is particularly useful for aluminium fabrication where precise heat control throughout the weld is critical.
What shielding gas should I use?
For AC TIG (aluminium): use pure Argon (Ar 99.99%). For DC TIG (stainless steel, mild steel): use pure Argon or Argon/Helium blends depending on application. For MMA: no shielding gas required — use appropriate coated electrodes for the base material.
Is the TitanTig 320 AC/DC CE certified?
Yes. The TitanTig 320 AC/DC is fully CE certified and compliant with EU Low Voltage and EMC Directives. IP23 protection and Class H insulation make it suitable for professional workshop and on-site use across Europe.
What warranty is included?
All Headux machines include a 2-year warranty backed by our German engineering team. Contact us at headux.de/pages/contact-us for warranty claims or technical assistance.
